S elima Salaun at IAC’s Extraordinary: Icons, Iconoclasm, and Innovation

As well as an eyewear designer, Selima Salaun is a collector of vintage accessories. Salaun derives significant inspiration for her eyewear from her impressive collection of vintage accessories and glasses. Her collection of vintage eyewear is arguably one of the world’s largest. Motivated by her love for film, she initially sought iconic pieces worn by actors in film noir classics.

For those that can’t get enough of Selima Salaun’s style, there will be an opportunity to hear her accessories design perspective live at IAC’s 15th Annual Fashion Conference, as she will be a guest on the panel “The Main Event: Icons, Iconoclasm, and Innovation in Fashion and Accessories Design,” moderated by Frank Zambrelli, Chairman of the Accessories Council. N ico Muhly → Two Boys

You want an escape to take a break from the commotion of New York, but stay within the city? You love the simple pleasures like a moment at the opera? Selima Optique gives you thee good deal! Currently, an amazing show at The Metropolitan Opera is going on. The composer, Nico Muhly, proposes a new way to love opera, with his creation, “Two Boys.” The remarkable glimpses of light, exceptional voices, original choreography, as well as paticular and differing melodies have never been experienced in an opera quite like this. All these, in such grand artistic representation, compliment a very interesting story that you’ll love.
