Alexander Berg’s series of portraits for Selima Optique is on >ISSUU.COM< in its entirety.

The continuation of a Selima Optique tradition that started in the 90′s - and which reflects Selima Salaun’s love for photography. Selima gave NY-based photographer Alexander Berg a modest selection of Selima Optique releases from the recent past, and he was then given carte blanche to shoot them as he pleased. So he portrayed friends and acquaintances. All the frames in Alex’ series are part of our current collection.

Selima was interviewed about the design process and about the collection of sunglasses and optical frames she was presenting. Right after the interview ran on ELLE.co.jp, the September 2014 issue came out. Our Maya frame got a full page, as worn by Elite Model Look Hungary winner Alma Baczay. The photographer is Yasutomo Ebisu.
